more renos revealed

ok just thought I'd share more after photos of some recent renos....

this is the upper cabinets Marc built and added his family's old stained glass doors to. We lit them from inside and have glass shelves throughout to really let the light shine in. This is the dining room side view of the passthrough. I just love how it turned out!

and this is the other side of the cabinet - also stained glass panels. this is the kitchen side of the passthrough - they also light up the counter underneath - so cool!

This is the light box Marc made to cover the florescent tubes in the kitchen. He used some metal panels from an old gazebo that the previous renter left here and said we could keep.







I really do love having a handyman around! Things are really starting to look better around here. Still lots more to be done - but those are the joys of home ownership, right?!
